Mise En Scene
Location- The location i have decided to use for my front cover magazine is D2, i chose this as my location because i am focusing my front cover on the talent that our school has within. In D2 there are many opportunities for me to take my shot the best i can as i am able to create a black bold background, also i am able to use the lights/spotlights in D2 so the actor in my shot will be the main focus of the picture.
Actors- Holly Hulse
Costumes- I would like my actor/actors in costume. The costumes i have in mind is a loose, dance dress which can be any colour other than black so my actor can stand out against the black background. Actor does not need to provide the costume themselves, unless need be. As D2 have many dance dresses that can be used, with permission.
Camera Shot- The camera shot i will be using for my shot will be at a low angle facing straight ahead, as well as medium long shot or extreme long shot.
Props- I will not be using any props in my shot, as i want the audience to be focused on the dancer only.
Narrative- The story i am trying to reach across to the audience is that our school is talented in many different ways, yet i am mainly focusing on the dance side of the talent rather than vocals or drama. I am also trying to tell a story to the audience that the talent our school has within is very unique and original.
